Frank Criniti grew up in West Virginia and became a standout multi-sport athlete at Charleston Catholic High School, graduating in the mid-1960s. He went on to play football at Notre Dame, where he was part of the program during the Ara Parseghian era and eventually served as an assistant under Parseghian after his playing career. Criniti graduated from Notre Dame in 1969 and later built a career as a CPA. Along the way, he experienced memorable personal moments, including meeting his wife, Patricia, who was a nursing student who happened to be on call and treating Frank as he was recovering from a broken nose. Throughout his life, he has looked back fondly on the relationships, lessons, and experiences shaped by football and his years at Notre Dame. The Irish legend passed away on March 26, 2023. ☘️ Written By: Will Gruse
