During her years at Charleston Catholic High School, this athlete made her mark across three sports—soccer, basketball, and tennis. She played center midfield in soccer, point guard in basketball, and competed in both singles and doubles in tennis. Her achievements are some of the strongest in recent CCHS history. In soccer, her class became four-time state champions, a rare accomplishment in any sport. On the basketball court, she helped lead the team to three straight regional titles, earning trips to the state tournament each of those years. In tennis, she was part of the 2021-2023 team state championships, and claimed multiple individual wins, including titles at 3rd doubles, 2nd doubles, 3 singles, and 2 singles. Her individual honors reflect her talent and work ethic: she was named the 2022 Class A-AA Women’s Soccer Player of the Year, the 2022-2023 WVSSAC Female Athlete of the Year, and the 2021-2022 WV ADA Female Athlete of the Year. Looking back, she says that playing sports at Charleston Catholic was unforgettable. The support from classmates, teachers, staff, and the community made every season special. Most of all, she treasures the friendships and memories that came from competing alongside her teammates. After graduating, she chose to continue her athletic and academic journey at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where she now plays soccer and recently competed in the Division III NCAA Tournament. She is majoring in biology and hopes to attend dental school after completing her degree. Written by Xander Allara
